U8 Smart Power Bank

Most power banks do one job. The U8 Smart Power Bank is pitched as something broader: according to the maker, it pairs a 10,000mAh battery with a 2.02-inch touchscreen, integrated noise-cancelling earbuds, AI-based real-time interpretation and a feature for locating misplaced devices, all in a compact housing.

Charging first

The maker says the 10,000mAh capacity is enough to recharge a smartphone or tablet several times. The unit carries USB-C and USB-A ports, supports fast-charging protocols and, according to the campaign, delivers stable power when charging multiple devices at once. It is described as compact and lightweight.

Beyond the battery

• 2.02-inch touchscreen for checking status and changing settings
• Built-in earbuds with noise cancelling
• AI-powered real-time interpretation through the earbuds
• Device-finding feature for locating lost gear
• Companion smartphone app for further customization

The idea is that a single object in your bag can handle charging, audio and cross-language conversation. The maker has not, in the material provided, detailed how the translation works, which languages it covers or how the earbuds are stored and charged within the unit.

The U8 Smart Power Bank appears as a Kickstarter project. As with any crowdfunded hardware, the specifications and feature claims above come from the maker and have not been independently verified by Modern-G.
