Brevvo Max

Brevvo Max

A cordless coffee maker claiming up to 20bar extraction that doubles as a USB-C power bank

Editor’s view

Why it matters

Portable coffee makers have long traded flavor for convenience, with low extraction pressure or fiddly manual operation. Brevvo Max sets out to close that gap. According to the maker, its extraction system reaches up to 20bar, compared with the roughly 9–15bar the campaign cites for typical home machines, with the aim of drawing out aroma oils, body and a golden crema.

Grounds, capsules and cold brew

The machine accepts both ground coffee and capsules, and the maker says it covers espresso, iced coffee and cold brew. Cold brew, which conventionally steeps for 12–24 hours, is handled by what the campaign describes as a proprietary pressurized process that repeats extraction five times to shorten the wait. Brewing temperature is adjustable from 86–95℃, letting users run lighter roasts cooler and darker roasts hotter. The maker quotes an extraction time of about 3 minutes and says it can produce 7–16 cups from cold water.

Cordless, and a power bank too

A built-in battery removes the need for an outlet, and the Max model is said to carry a larger-capacity battery for longer trips or group outings. Charging is via USB-C at up to 45W. The same battery can also charge other gear: the maker lists USB-C output of up to 45W for USB-C PD laptops and tablets, plus a USB-A port rated at up to 36W for phones, action cameras and earbuds.

  • Size: 133×80×185mm
  • Materials: ABS, PC, PP, SUS304 stainless steel, silicone
  • Pressure: up to 20bar
  • Temperature range: 86–95℃
  • USB-C charging/output: up to 45W; USB-A output: up to 36W

Designed to be handled one-handed

The campaign describes an ergonomic grip for one-handed use and a twist mechanism that deploys the unit in about 1 second, switching between brewing and stowed modes. Parts detach for cleaning, and a control panel without extraneous buttons sets mode, temperature and volume. At roughly the size of a standard plastic bottle, the maker says it fits backpack side pockets and car cup holders.
