DeliOne describes itself as a brand built by a team of 10 young designers with expertise in silicone materials and production. According to the maker, its products have won international awards including Germany's Red Dot Design Award, it has sold more than 1 million sets worldwide over the past 8 years, and it has completed 7 successful Kickstarter projects.

The Duo Lock seal

The centerpiece is what DeliOne calls the DUO LOCK bar system, a closure the maker likens to a suitcase latch. The company says the bars stayed in place through more than 100 shake tests, that a bag filled with soup held upside down for 24 hours without leaking a drop, and that the bag withstands a 50kg load.

Storage that doubles as cookware

Removing the shorter bar lets the bag be used with an included tray to steam vegetables in a microwave in 3 minutes, according to the maker, which says the low-water method helps limit nutrient loss. With both bars removed, DeliOne says the bag can go in the oven for potatoes or desserts. A bundled "5-Minute Chef" digital recipe collection covers dishes such as popcorn, risotto and pasta.

A wide, anti-tip base lets the bag stand upright on a counter or in the fridge. The maker cites data showing fridge space savings of more than 40%, and says better cold-air circulation helps food stay fresh longer.
