Focus Gap
A magnetic, eight-module desk system in walnut and anodized aluminum that gives every desk item a fixed home.
Editor’s view
Why it matters
Most desk clutter, the campaign argues, comes not from a lack of storage but from objects without a defined place to go. Focus Gap addresses that by splitting the desk into purpose-specific modules rather than one large all-in-one organizer, so a phone, a set of keys or a pair of headphones each has its own spot.
Eight modules, one magnetic system
The maker lists eight module types, joined by what it describes as a magnetic modular system. Modules can be added or rearranged to suit a changing workflow, for example moving the charging area from one side of the desk to the other.
- Monitor stand
- CO2 smart module (CO2, temperature and humidity)
- 3-device wireless charger
- Large tray
- Small tray
- Headphone stand
- Vertical laptop stand
- Plant pot
Materials and design
Focus Gap is built from walnut and anodized aluminum, with magnetic parts and soft-touch contact surfaces, according to the maker. Because the modules share one design language, the campaign suggests the setup stays visually consistent as functions are added, avoiding the mismatched look of accessories bought piecemeal.
Air monitoring and charging
The CO2 smart module shows carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and humidity in real time on its own display, so the app is not required for basic readings. Paired with a smartphone app, the maker says it can track indoor air trends and history, and if a city is shared, compare indoor conditions with outdoor air data to help decide when to open a window. The wireless charger handles a smartphone, a watch-style device and an earbud case at once.
Stands and storage
The monitor stand raises the screen and leaves space underneath to slide a keyboard or small items out of the way. The headphone stand and vertical laptop stand give those devices fixed positions, the latter aimed at people working closed-lid with an external monitor. Two trays cover keys, cards, coins and USB drives, while a plant pot adds some greenery to the arrangement.
