HEYfold Notebook

The premise of HEYfold Notebook is simple: keep the feel of pen on page, but stop using up paper. Instead of sheets, the notebook uses boards with a special surface treatment. According to the maker, writing done with the included pen will not smudge when rubbed once dry, yet can be wiped away with water or a cloth, allowing the write-erase-rewrite cycle to repeat semi-permanently.

A surface built for rewriting

The campaign attributes this to a nanotechnology-based surface treatment. It is described not as a whiteboard but as a surface that keeps a paper-like writing feel while letting ink adhere firmly and resist friction to a degree. The maker also says the surface holds up to repeated rewriting and that writing does not bleed over time.

The body is 4mm thick, which the maker presents as slim enough to slip into a gap in a bag while still offering writing area comparable to a page count. The cover is described as a highly durable material with a soft, flexible feel. The campaign also states that recycled plastic is used, positioning the notebook as a tool for reducing paper consumption and disposable habits.
