Who we are

Modern-G is operated by Gloture Inc. (Tokyo, Japan), which handles personal information under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).

What we collect

Brand and contact details you submit, product information and images, consent choices, payment status from Stripe (we never see full card numbers), and limited technical data (hashed IP address, browser type) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To review your submission, prepare articles, deliver paid newsletter placements, send service emails about your submission and order, keep accounting records, and prevent fraud.

Marketing emails are sent only if you opted in. Gloture contacts you about its PR services only if you opted in to that separately.

Processors

We use service providers to run this service, including Stripe (payments), Mailchimp (newsletter delivery; your submission is not added to the newsletter audience), our hosting and database providers, an email delivery provider, WordPress hosting, and an AI model provider that drafts Japanese articles from your product information. Some are located outside Japan, including the United States.

Retention

Accounting records are kept as required by law. Rejected submissions are deleted after 12 months unless needed for a dispute. You can ask us to delete your data sooner where the law allows.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or suspension of use of your personal information, and withdraw marketing consent at any time, by replying to any of our emails.
