Baseus X1 Pro

Most outdoor cameras struggle with corners and lose detail at night. The Baseus X1 Pro tackles both with a dual-camera design. According to the maker, each of its two independent 3K cameras has a 125° field of view and can pan 55° horizontally, adding up to what Baseus describes as a 300° patrol range.

Two cameras, one tracking job

The headline feature is what Baseus calls AI relay tracking. When one camera detects a moving subject, it hands the job to the other, so a person or car crossing a yard can be followed past obstacles such as a building corner. The cameras can also run independently, for example with separate AI tracking on a front entrance and a back garden. An active patrol mode has both cameras rotate and scan at user-set intervals, such as every hour, rather than waiting for motion.

Detection relies on two PIR sensors that wake the cameras when motion occurs. The maker says on-device AI distinguishes people, pets and vehicles to cut down on false alerts from swaying plants or passing birds. At night, the camera offers full-colour night vision, with a black-and-white mode available as an alternative.

Power, storage and mounting

An optional solar panel automatically adjusts 40° to follow the sun and outputs 3W; Baseus claims roughly a 100% improvement in energy collection compared with a fixed panel. Recordings go to a microSD card of up to 512GB, with no monthly cloud fee required. For more local capacity, an optional H1 Home Station adds 32GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 16TB. The maker also describes AI tagging of recorded events to create a searchable timeline.
