Cwepady S80

A magnetic mini camera with 2.7K recording, a 180-degree rotating lens and a charging dock that doubles as a stand

Editor’s view

Why it matters

Cwepady positions the S80 as a camera that stays out of the way: something small enough to clip to a bike frame, stick to a fridge or attach to a pet for point-of-view footage that a phone can't easily capture. According to the maker, the design pairs a pocketable body with features usually found on larger action cameras.

Image, lens and screen

The maker says the S80 records in 2.7K Ultra HD and also supports 1080P/30FPS. Its lens rotates 180 degrees, letting users switch between selfie and outward-facing shots by lifting and turning the camera. Used with the dedicated charging dock, the lens can rotate without obstruction. A 1.47-inch IPS display allows framing checks and instant playback without connecting a phone.

Mounting and the charging dock

A strong magnet built into the back lets the camera attach to metal surfaces such as fridges, bicycle frames and shelving, and an anti-drop strap is included. Cwepady says it placed the charging port on the left side after thousands of alignment tests with the dock, so the connector doesn't block the lens and the camera can keep recording while charging. The dock itself carries two universal tripod screw mounts, so it can act as both power source and shooting stand.
