Precision milling has long belonged to heavy, expensive machines that need a dedicated workshop. Existing desktop mills, the campaign argues, tend to trade away accuracy, stability or portability. KUJIETOOL is the maker's attempt to keep all three, in a body it describes as the world's smallest general-purpose milling machine.

Precision on the handwheels

According to the maker, the machine reaches 0.01mm precision, with overall accuracy of ±0.01mm. The X, Y and Z handwheels carry engraved graduations with a resolution of 0.007mm per division, intended for fine positioning on tasks such as cutting narrow grooves in jewellery or drilling small electronic parts.

Light frame, compact footprint

The body is made from high-strength aluminium alloy and weighs 2.4kg, which the maker says is light enough to carry in a backpack. Its dimensions are listed as 251×386×403mm, and the campaign claims the work envelope still accommodates small parts through to mid-sized prototypes.

The maker positions the swappable chuck as a way to handle cutting, engraving, polishing and drilling on a single machine, and says the variable spindle suits materials from wood and plastics to aluminium. It also claims operating noise comparable to everyday conversation, making the mill suitable for homes, classrooms and offices.
