The maker describes a device that combines studio-quality recording with GPT-4o, using four programmable macro keys for app control, translation and typing assistance. Its stated design philosophy is to "bridge the gap between human creativity and artificial intelligence," and the team frames the idea as owning AI rather than renting it, with no complicated sign-up process required.

GPT-4o from a physical button

According to the maker, Powerrider integrates natively with GPT-4o and can call on ChatGPT's full feature set directly from the hardware, including complex reasoning, code generation, creative writing and real-time translation, without trimming any capabilities. The pitch is workflow continuity: rather than opening a browser and typing prompts, users trigger tasks such as drafting a presentation from a button. The maker also describes pressing a button during an online meeting to start recording and transcription simultaneously, producing notes once the meeting ends.

Hardware and controls

The body is described as premium aluminum alloy, carrying four programmable physical buttons and a multifunction knob. The buttons can be mapped to launching apps, switching AI modes or media play/pause. A single tap on the knob switches between voice mode and AI mode, a long press starts Bluetooth pairing, and turning it adjusts microphone gain and input volume. A built-in chip is said to filter background noise in real time, and a physical mute button is included to prevent unintended audio from being transmitted.

AI ONE software and privacy

The companion AI ONE software provides a ChatGPT-based toolset for copywriting, PPT creation, code writing, document organization and long-form translation from a single screen. It also allows customization of speech recognition, such as automatic punctuation and long-form voice recognition, and button shortcut assignments. The maker says AI ONE is shared with the same series' AI keyboard and AI mouse, so text selected with the mouse could be translated or summarized with a Powerrider button. On privacy, EGIOZR Tech states that functions are built on OpenAI's commercial API, that personal data is not collected, stored or used for training, that communications are encrypted and GDPR/CCPA compliant, and that users control saving and deleting their history.
