Why it matters

Loose eyeglass screws and a slipping bicycle seat are rarely hard fixes; the problem is usually that the right tool is in a drawer somewhere else. The Revolver S, presented as a Kickstarter project, is built around closing that gap. The maker describes it not as a backup tool but as an everyday-carry driver meant to go wherever its owner goes.

Small body, full ratchet

The maker calls it a coin-sized EDC design that sits in a pocket or bag without bulk. At its core is a three-mode ratchet mechanism offering forward, reverse and locked settings, switchable without changing grip. According to the maker, each change is confirmed by a subtle click so the mode does not shift unintentionally, and the mechanism is intended to reduce wrist strain across small and larger screws.

Bits, extension and magnets

A revolver-style chamber stores six standard 1/4-inch bits, visible at a glance and held by internal magnets so they stay put in transit. A built-in extension is also stowed magnetically inside the chamber, for screws that are recessed or surrounded by obstacles. The maker says precision-tuned neodymium magnets keep the active bit secure while still allowing quick swaps.

  • T20H
  • T8H
  • H3

The maker suggests PH1 or T8H for eyeglasses and SL6 or H3 for furniture assembly, and says the set covers most screws encountered day to day.

Grade 5 titanium and carry options

The body is made from Grade 5 titanium, chosen by the maker for its balance of strength, light weight and corrosion resistance against sweat and moisture. It can be carried loose, or paired with optional leather sheaths offered with either a key ring or a pocket clip. Suggested uses range from cabinet adjustments at home and desk equipment at work to bicycle tweaks and camera gear maintenance on the go.
