Trexo Wheels Go

A three-wheeled, app-driven motion base that moves phones and DSLRs along paths you draw.

Editor’s view

Why it matters

Camera movement is often what separates flat footage from footage that feels alive, but sliders, dollies and turntables add cost and bulk. Trexo Innovation's answer is the Trexo Wheels Go, a small motorised unit that, according to the maker, lets smartphone and DSLR shooters reproduce product shots, time-lapses, pans and face-tracking moves from a single device.

Paths you draw, moves you repeat

At its core is a motor-driven base on three wheels. The maker says it can travel in smooth arcs or straight lines, or trace a custom route set by the user, enabling diagonal and curved tracking shots on floors or tabletops without a slider. Routes are drawn in a companion app for iOS and Android, where speed, stop positions and the number of repetitions can be adjusted, so the same move can be repeated across takes for product videos, cooking clips or vlogs. The app also handles time-lapse scheduling.

Hands-off control

Trexo Innovation has built in AI voice commands that recognise simple phrases such as "Start Recording" and "Move Right", letting a solo shooter trigger actions without touching the rig. AI face tracking is designed to keep a subject in frame during interviews or vlogs. For those who prefer direct control, the maker says manual operation is fully supported alongside app and voice input.

  • Motion time-lapse, with the camera moving steadily as time passes
  • Turntable mode for 360-degree product rotation
  • Compatible with both DSLR and mobile setups
  • Under 500g, with an aircraft-grade aluminium build
  • Sized to fit in a backpack pocket, according to the maker

Looking ahead

The source material speculates about future possibilities, including AI-generated routes, subject tracking, autofocus features, integration with dollies, gimbals and cranes, and synchronising multiple units for multi-camera moves. These are described as potential directions rather than confirmed features.
