4URPC Wireless Monitor

Portable monitors usually come with a tangle of USB-C cables and a hunt for power. The 4URPC Wireless Monitor takes a different route: according to the maker, it can display the screen of a compatible phone or computer wirelessly, without joining a home or office Wi-Fi network and without installing a dedicated app.

Wireless first, wired when needed

The maker lists wireless support for iPhone, many Android devices running Android 10 or later, MacBook and Mac mini, and many Windows laptops. Everyday apps such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook can be shared wirelessly, but the campaign notes that DRM-protected services including Netflix, Hulu, Max and Disney+ may restrict wireless mirroring. In those cases, the included USB-C cable provides a wired connection for viewing.

Over cable, the maker says the display works with PCs that have video-capable USB-C or HDMI, as well as Nintendo Switch, TV boxes, set-top boxes, smartphones and game consoles.

A screen you can touch back

Beyond mirroring, the monitor supports what the maker describes as two-way touch control: taps on the 15.6-inch panel are sent back to the connected device, so opening documents, turning pages or selecting items can happen on the monitor itself rather than on the laptop or phone. It can be used as a touch-enabled second display and in both portrait and landscape orientations.

• 15.6-inch FHD IPS display
• Low-latency wireless screen casting, per the maker
• Touchscreen with two-way control of connected devices
• Portrait and landscape use
• Built-in 4000mAh battery
• Full-function USB-C, plus compatibility with HDMI sources

Battery life

The built-in 4000mAh battery is rated by the maker at roughly 4 to 5 hours at full power, and about 9 to 10 hours for light tasks such as displaying photos without audio. Actual runtime, the campaign notes, varies with brightness, volume, connected devices and conditions.
