Abxylute One Pro
An Android handheld built to tie cloud, remote, native and emulated games into one 7-inch device.
Editor’s view
Why it matters
Game libraries are now scattered across cloud services, home consoles, PCs, phones and decades of retro titles. The Abxylute One Pro is pitched as a single handheld that reaches all of them, and its Kickstarter project drew notable attention: according to the source, it had raised over $70,000 against a goal of just $1,200.
Screen, controls and weight
According to the maker, the device uses a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with 1080p resolution, with attention paid to viewing angles and colour so that dense game interfaces and fine pixel art display cleanly. Full-size analog sticks sit alongside a D-pad, shoulder buttons, triggers and ABXY buttons, which the maker says are tuned for low input latency; the sticks are described as high-sensitivity and made from durable materials. The whole unit is said to weigh about 370g.
What's inside
- MediaTek octa-core chip
- 8GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable via microSD
- Wi-Fi 5
- 4,000mAh battery, rated by the maker at 4–6 hours of typical cloud gaming
- USB-C fast charging
- Android OS with Google Play
One device, many platforms
Compatibility is the core of the pitch. The maker lists cloud services such as GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming; remote play via PS Remote Play, Xbox Remote Play, Moonlight, Steam Link and Rainway; and native Android titles such as Genshin Impact and Call of Duty Mobile. Installing emulators like RetroArch, Dolphin or PPSSPP opens the door to older libraries.
The design philosophy assumes you already own a console or gaming PC: rather than replacing them, the One Pro is meant to extend where you play. Being Android-based, it can also serve for video, reading and social apps, and leaves room for future app additions.
