Aprilous Luné

Hand-washing makeup tools is messy and slow, and according to the maker it can also bend bristles or leave brushes damp long enough for bacteria to grow. Aprilous Luné is pitched as a fix: a minimalist unit meant to live on the vanity rather than in a drawer. The maker describes it as the world's first 4-in-1 device of its kind and says it received a Red Dot Design Award in 2025.

Washing

At the core is a silicone cleaning part the maker calls the "Magic Carpet." It rotates and reverses every 30 seconds to mimic the back-and-forth motion of hand washing. The campaign says its double-layer silicone conforms to tool curves for 360-degree cleaning without bending bristles, handling everything from a 2mm liner brush to a 25mm powder brush, plus pillar, flared and tapered shapes and sponges of various sizes. Cycles are adjustable from a light refresh to a deep detox for stubborn foundation, and a wash takes 5 minutes. Each wash uses about one bowl of water, which the maker says saves up to 80% compared with hand washing. The silicone parts are replaceable.

Drying, sanitizing and light

• Gentle Dry: PTC-powered smart heat with what the maker calls fiber-safe technology, 4 temperature settings and an adjustable timer; rated at 40dB, with brushes dry in roughly 1–3 hours.
• UV sanitizing: 3 UVC LEDs arranged at 120-degree angles run automatically with the dry cycle, or as a standalone one-touch 10-minute program that also works on rings and earrings.
• Ambient light: 5 lighting modes switchable with a tap, glowing through the Magic Carpet liner.

Taken together, the campaign frames Luné less as an appliance and more as a piece of vanity décor that turns a chore into a calmer daily ritual.
