ChargeUnie

Phones, smartwatches and earbuds each tend to bring their own cable, and the nightstand is usually where they pile up. ChargeUnie, a project out of Hong Kong, is pitched as a way to consolidate that clutter: a wireless charger, a night light and a clock folded into a single device.

Three devices, one pad

According to the maker, ChargeUnie supports Qi2 wireless charging and can charge up to three devices at once, such as a smartphone, an Apple Watch and wireless earbuds like AirPods, with fast and stable charging claimed. The campaign lists compatibility with major phones from Apple and Samsung as well as Qi-compatible devices in general, and says devices are detected as soon as they are set down.

Light and time

• Night light switched on and off by simple voice commands, per the maker
• Adjustable color temperature and brightness, with a soft tone described as easy on the eyes
• Front-mounted LED clock display designed to be readable when just waking up
• Built-in alarm function

The source also frames the voice control as a possible entry point into a smart home setup for households already using assistants such as Alexa or Google Assistant, though it does not spell out how, or whether, ChargeUnie integrates with them directly.

Design

The maker describes a minimal body with warm tones and a matte finish, offered in a neutral-leaning color range intended to suit bedrooms and offices alike. The Kickstarter project is reported to have raised more than 10 times its funding goal.
