DICEVERSE

The premise of DICEVERSE is a tear between universes and the struggle for ultimate power that follows. Each player picks one of four factions and plays cards to command an army of dice, moving across the battlefield and attacking the opponent. According to the campaign, every faction has its own deck and special abilities, and mastering them is what separates winners from the rest.

Quick to set up, built for depth

The maker says a game can be under way in 2 minutes: players roll their dice armies onto the board and the fight begins. The rules are described as learnable in 5 minutes, while the campaign pitches strategic depth and replayability across short sessions, positioning the game for both newcomers and experienced players.

Four factions, four visual worlds

• Aliens: invaders from a retro-futuristic comic world of pastel UFOs, pulp-magazine covers and chrome optimism hiding a conspiracy.
• Necromancers: skeletal warlords from a noir underworld, rendered in 2D shades of bone white, blood red and eternal black.
• Cultists: drawn from a 3D world of warped reality, eerie light and impossible architecture with a Lovecraftian edge.
• Elementalists: born of an oil-painted world where brushstrokes of water and fire command the forces of nature.

Each faction is presented with its own strategy and personality, so the choice of side is meant to change how the game plays as well as how it looks.

Components

According to the maker, the cards are made of plastic yet handle like ordinary cards, flexing and sliding smoothly, and are waterproof, so the deck is protected without sleeves. The dice are made of resin with real candy wrappers embedded inside. The campaign also cites attention to environmentally conscious design and manufacturing, including sustainable materials and eco-friendly factories.

Shvili Games reportedly plans to develop the game over the long term, with new factions and expansion packs mentioned for the future. A second title, FLY FURTHER, a strategy game for 3–6 players, was offered alongside DICEVERSE during the Kickstarter campaign.
