DockTech™

Phones, earbuds, watches and laptops each tend to arrive with their own chargers and cables. DockTech™ is designed to consolidate that clutter into one folding unit that serves as both a wireless charging station and a wired docking station. According to the maker, it is meant to work on an office desk, at home or on the road.

Charging and connectivity

The maker says DockTech™ can charge three devices at once and supports the MagSafe and Qi2 standards. It is aimed primarily at Apple hardware such as iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch, though compatible phones from other brands are also said to support fast wireless charging. On MagSafe devices, magnets hold the device in place as it begins charging.

According to the campaign, the ports can handle SSDs, external storage, mice and keyboards alongside a monitor, with the goal of running a full desk setup through a single cable.

Design

The stand folds flat for carrying in a bag. The maker describes a minimal, premium finish and a structure built to dissipate heat, intended to keep both the stand and connected devices from overheating during long sessions.

DockTech™ is presented on Kickstarter by the DockTech team in Hong Kong, which pitches the product as a compact hub for charging, connecting and organizing hardware in hybrid and remote work setups.
