DUVA FlipSide Travel Pouch
A reversible travel pouch with one face for airport checkpoints and another for getting around town.
Editor’s view
Why it matters
Most travel pouches have one working side, which often means carrying several of them for different moments of a trip. According to the maker, the DUVA FlipSide Travel Pouch takes a different approach: two independently designed faces in a single pouch, swapped by flipping it over rather than repacking.
Airport Side and Move Side
The Airport Side uses a fully opening design so the contents are visible at a glance, which the maker pitches as a way to find passports, boarding passes, cards and coins quickly at security. Inside, it is divided into a dedicated passport pocket, card slots and mesh pockets for coins and small items, and the maker says the layout is built to keep items from falling out despite opening fully.
The Move Side is aimed at city walking, public transport and sightseeing. It closes with a zipper to protect the contents inside a bag, and adds an external quick-access pocket on the side for things like earphones, a transit IC card or lip balm, reachable without opening the pouch.
Storage, security and carry
- A large main compartment for items such as a cosmetics pouch, charger or notebook, plus multiple card slots and stretch mesh pockets
- A security structure around the passport and card storage that the maker says guards against unauthorized external reading of information
- Zippers the maker describes as high quality, and interior pockets designed to keep valuables out of sight
- A detachable hand strap, plus a handle and ring for attaching to backpacks, totes or business bags; the maker also mentions belt carry
- Tear-resistant body material with resistance to splashes and dirt, reinforced stitching at stress points and durable hardware, according to the maker
Three sizes, two colors
The pouch comes in three sizes. Trail (small) targets solo light travel, short trips and minimal everyday use. Journey (medium) is positioned for regular trips, solo travel or couples. Expedition (large) is meant for family trips, travel with multiple passports and anyone needing more capacity. Two color options are offered, which the maker describes as subdued tones chosen to hide dirt.
