Enjoymon
A travel neck pillow that inflates air bags based on head tilt, with massage and snore-triggered vibration
Editor’s view
Why it matters
Most travel pillows are passive: they hold your head and hope for the best. Enjoymon takes a more active approach. The maker describes it as the world's first travel neck pillow with posture-detecting automatic inflation, pairing that system with massage and a snore-recognition vibration feature. It is pitched for long-haul flights and train rides, as well as short breaks at the office or on the sofa, and the maker says all functions operate offline, without needing in-flight Wi-Fi.
Air bags that respond to head tilt
The core feature is what the maker calls Smart Head Position Detection Inflation. An embedded posture sensor tracks head tilt in real time. In Sleep / Anti-Snore mode, if the head leans to one side within a specified 0.1kg–0.45kg weight range and stays there for 10 seconds, the air bag on that side gradually inflates to guide the head back toward a neutral cervical position, then slowly deflates once the head is back in place. The maker says the 10-second threshold is designed to avoid reacting to momentary movements. The air bags are made from medical-grade TPU, which the company says passed more than 50,000 inflation-deflation cycle tests, is free of phthalates and BPA, and carries SGS and CE certification.
Massage and snore detection
Two soft silicone massage heads are positioned around the Tenchu acupressure point at the back of the neck. Activating massage starts an automatic 15-minute alternating cycle, a duration the maker says is based on research and also serves as a safeguard against over-massaging. Separately, a voiceprint-recognition algorithm is said to distinguish the wearer's snoring from cabin noise and nearby conversation. In Anti-Snore mode, snoring detected for more than 20 seconds triggers an 8-second gentle vibration intended to prompt a subtle head adjustment rather than wake the user; if snoring continues, it repeats after 5 minutes. Switching to Sleep mode disables the vibration.
Design and power
- Ergonomic dual-peak rear structure, with a flat back intended to sit against seat backrests
- Comfort memory foam filling and a washable pure cotton outer cover
- Tactile, easy-find buttons: a slightly larger power button and a textured massage button for use in the dark
- Sized around a 40cm neck circumference, which the maker links to higher snoring risk
- Supports use while charging from a power bank and 5V/1A adapters, with a built-in charging protection circuit
- More than 3.5 hours of use under extreme load testing, according to the maker, with longer runtime claimed in typical use
The maker also suggests that keeping the neck aligned may help open the airway, and that the massage can ease stiff muscles. These are the company's claims; independent verification is not provided in the source material.
