Why it matters

FOSSiBOT, a brand founded in July 2022 by a team the company says has more than ten years of R&D experience in smartphones and energy storage, brought the F107 Pro to MWC 2025 alongside other products. The phone is positioned as a rugged handset for outdoor enthusiasts and people working in harsh environments, and it has been presented as a Kickstarter project.

Night vision in color

The headline feature is what FOSSiBOT calls a starlight full-color night vision camera. Conventional infrared night vision typically produces black-and-white images; according to the maker, the F107 Pro's system uses minimal ambient light such as moonlight or starlight and detects both visible and infrared light to produce brighter, more detailed color images. The company pitches it for scenarios like photographing wildlife in the mountains at night.

The rest of the camera array, per the maker, consists of a 200MP main camera, a 50MP wide-angle lens, a macro camera and a 32MP front camera. Electronic image stabilization (EIS) is included for video, which FOSSiBOT says keeps footage steady while cycling rough trails or hiking over rocks.

Battery and durability

A 28,000mAh battery is rated by the maker for up to 30 days of standby on a single charge, with quoted figures of 4,827 hours in flight mode, 2,800 hours on 5G standby, 215 hours of talk time and 133 hours of music playback. It supports 66W fast charging and 10W reverse charging for topping up devices such as smartwatches or earbuds. The phone is said to comply with MIL-STD-810H, IP68 and IP69K, and it carries a flashlight with a stated range of 50 meters.

  • Display: 6.95-inch FHD+ at 120Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass 3
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra
  • Memory and storage: 12GB/16GB RAM, 512GB internal storage
  • Networks: GSM, CDMA, WCDMA and 5G (multiple TDD and FDD bands)
  • Charging: 66W fast charging, 10W reverse charging

FOSSiBOT says it operates an 8,500-square-meter factory in China and sells its products in more than 80 countries and regions. As with any crowdfunded hardware, delivery and final specifications carry risks such as unforeseen production issues.
