Why it matters

Most car chargers do one job. Greatix tries to do two: keep a laptop and phones topped up on the road, and help you find the car once it is parked. The maker describes it as a smart car charger that combines high-output USB-C power, cross-platform tracking and a live power display in a single cigarette-socket unit.

Power for laptops, not just phones

According to the maker, Greatix delivers 170W in total across its three ports, enough to charge one laptop and two smartphones at the same time. A single USB-C port supports PD 3.1 at up to 140W, and the company claims this can bring a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 70% in 30 minutes. An independent dual PD circuit design is said to keep the 140W main port stable when other devices are plugged in or removed.

An LED display shows the real-time wattage from each port, which the maker says also makes it possible to see whether a cable is performing as expected. Input voltage is rated from 12V to 24V, covering everything from compact sedans to long-haul trucks, per the campaign.

Tracking that outlasts the ignition

The more unusual feature is location tracking compatible with both Apple Find My and Android Find Hub, so the car's position can be checked from either kind of phone. A built-in 200mAh lithium rechargeable battery keeps tracking running for up to 365 days with the engine off, according to the maker, and recharges automatically when the car is started.

  • Ports: 2x USB-C, 1x USB-A (2C+1A)
  • Total output: 170W; single-port maximum: 140W (PD 3.1)
  • Tracking: Apple Find My and Android Find Hub
  • Backup battery: 200mAh, up to 365 days offline tracking
  • Input: 12V–24V
  • Housing: PC/ABS composite with metallic finish, V0 flame-retardant rating

The housing is a PC/ABS composite with a metallic-look finish. The maker says the non-metal material avoids interfering with the tracking signal, and cites a V0 flame-retardant rating and a thermal management system with a heatsink for sustained 140W charging.
