KeyGo Gen2

A 180° folding keyboard with a built-in 13-inch 4K/60Hz touchscreen and speakers, under 2cm thick

Editor’s view

Why it matters

Working from a café counter, an airplane tray table or a client's office usually means compromising on screen space. KeyGo Gen2 aims to close that gap by folding a keyboard and an extra display into one slim unit. According to the maker, the design builds on the first-generation model and on feedback from its users.

Folding design and display

The maker says the body folds 180°, measures 32×15cm and is under 2cm thick, so it can be carried like a slim notebook in a backpack or laptop case. The chassis is machined from CNC aluminum, which the maker credits with stability while typing and durability for daily carry.

The biggest change from the original is the screen: a 13-inch 4K/60Hz touchscreen replaces the first model's 720P panel. Brightness adjustment is new as well, intended to suit everything from bright offices to darker late-night settings.

Sound, typing and connectivity

Built-in speakers, absent from earlier models, handle video playback, music and online calls without relying on a laptop or external speakers. Key travel has been shortened by 1mm, which the maker says speeds up key rebound for a more responsive yet quiet typing feel.

KeyGo Gen2 is described as plug-and-play: connect it over USB-C and it works as both a keyboard and a second display, with no dedicated drivers required, according to the maker.
