M1 EDC Organizer

Most pouches share the same flaw: open them and the contents spill or shuffle into a jumble. GADGET ON, a product design team based in London, says the M1 EDC Organizer is the result of years of research and iteration aimed at fixing that problem, in a compact format meant for commuting, outdoor trips and work sites alike.

Opens flat, stays organized

The central idea is 180° clamshell access, which lets the pouch open fully so everything inside is visible at once. According to the maker, inner wings hold gear in place, so the pouch can be opened on a lap or inside a car without items falling out. The interior layout combines multiple pockets, elastic loops and a mesh zip compartment, with spots for a flashlight, multitool, pens and batteries.

A customizable elastic grid board attaches with Velcro, letting owners arrange gear to suit their own routine. The maker says the board can also be removed and used on its own, inside another bag or on a desk.

Built for modular setups

• Full-width MOLLE-compatible rear panel for tactical backpacks, belts and plate carriers
• Front Velcro panel for morale patches, small tools and keychain gear
• 500D nylon construction, described as abrasion resistant, with IPX4 water resistance
• Grab handle on the bottom for quick retrieval
• Three finishes: Shadow Black, Coyote Tan and Desert Camo

The maker notes that the pouch stays flexible despite its compact size, so it can slip into a larger pack. GADGET ON also says it plans upgrades and new features based on backer feedback, and suggests uses beyond EDC and outdoor gear, such as organizing documents and stationery for work or essentials for travel.
