MagInk

Most power banks are anonymous bricks. MagInk, a Kickstarter project, puts a color E-Ink panel on the outside and treats that surface as something to customize. The maker describes it as the world's first smart power bank combining a color E-Ink display, AI-driven customization and productivity tools in a single device.

A display you control from your phone

Through a companion app, owners can upload their own photos, generate AI art from a typed idea, browse a built-in curated gallery or pull in work shared by the MagInk community. According to the maker, the display can be updated at any time, and when paired with a smartphone over Bluetooth it refreshes automatically with the latest schedule or custom images, with no manual input required. E-Ink's paper-like look, readability and low power draw make it a natural fit for a surface that sits on a battery.

Beyond decoration, the maker positions the screen as a practical display: showing an e-ticket at a gate, presenting a digital business card or checking the day's schedule, with calendar and to-do lists synced through the app.

Charging, tracking and two builds

• 15W wireless fast charging and 22.5W wired fast charging, per the maker
• Can charge multiple devices at once
• Slim enough, the maker says, to fit in a pocket or slide into a wallet sleeve
• MagInk Basic: lightweight PC+ABS shell
• MagInk Pro: aluminum alloy body with built-in tracking compatible with Apple Find My and Android Find My Device
• Colors: black, slate and white

The campaign also describes a location system that works with iOS and Android over Bluetooth to help locate misplaced items, and a dedicated case for MagInk Pro designed to protect the E-Ink display while keeping it visible and usable.
