MantaPower

Named after the manta ray and its fluid, powerful movement, MantaPower is pitched by its makers as more than a conventional power bank: a multi-use charging accessory built around wireless charging, a very thin profile, gaming ergonomics and hands-free use. The target is the familiar annoyances of mobile charging: tangled cords, heavy batteries and cables that get in the way during play.

Wired and wireless output

The maker says MantaPower delivers up to 15W of wireless output and also has a 20W USB-C port, so devices can be topped up either way. A built-in charging cable stows into the body, meaning a wired connection is available without carrying a separate lead.

Thin, light and magnetic

According to the campaign, the pack measures 8.9mm thick and weighs 99g, slim enough to sit stacked on an iPhone and fit into a pocket or folio-style phone case. Its MagSafe-compatible design is said to hold firmly to an iPhone so it does not slip while moving. With the included ring and stand accessories, it can also prop the phone up for video watching or Zoom meetings.

Built with gamers in mind

• Smooth edges intended to fit both portrait and landscape grips
• A slim body designed not to interfere with how the phone is held
• A matte finish chosen, the maker says, to resist slipping and sweaty hands during long sessions

The team behind MantaPower, made up of engineers and designers based in Hong Kong, describes its aim as building something that supports everyday mobile life quietly and reliably. The source also suggests possible future expansion into MagSafe accessories and gaming peripherals, though no specific plans are described.
