Why it matters

The pitch behind MUITAVY Gen2 is consolidation: one hub to replace the cluster of chargers that laptops, phones, tablets, earbuds and cameras tend to accumulate on a desk. The maker says gallium nitride (GaN) components let it combine a 300W total output with a footprint small enough to carry, something it contrasts with conventional silicon-based chargers.

Power and distribution

According to the maker, the 300W budget is managed by a three-zone smart distribution system. The hub is divided into three independent charging zones, each detecting the power demand of connected devices in real time and allocating output automatically, with no manual adjustment. The maker gives an example load of a 140W laptop, a 65W tablet, a 30W phone, 20W earbuds and a 15W smartwatch running together, and says the system can prioritise high-demand devices, such as a laptop with a low battery, while keeping a minimum supply to the rest.

All seven ports can be used simultaneously, the maker says, with a mix that includes multiple USB-C PD ports and USB-A ports. Some of the ports support PD3.1, the USB Power Delivery revision that allows up to 240W. The maker also describes charging that tapers current as a battery approaches around 80% to reduce strain.

Display, compatibility and inputs

  • Front LCD showing per-port current, voltage and power, plus estimated battery level and warnings for abnormal current or overcharge protection, per the maker
  • Support for USB-C PD, USB-A QC (Quick Charge) and Apple 2.4A protocols, covering phones, tablets, MacBook and Windows laptops, wearables, cameras and power banks
  • Four input cable options, with USB-C to C and USB-C to A among those named
  • Compact, palm-sized design intended for travel as well as desk use

Taken together, the campaign positions MUITAVY Gen2 as a single charging point for multi-device workers, creators, students and households. Real-world performance of the zone allocation and the hub's size and weight have not been independently verified by Modern-G.
