Most automatic pet feeders dispense dry kibble, which leaves owners who want to serve wet food doing it by hand: thawing frozen raw food hours ahead, or decanting half-used cans into the fridge. Neakasa Riko takes a different route. The maker says it stores shelf-stable freeze-dried food and prepares a raw-style wet meal on the spot, timed to a preset schedule.

Made to order, at mealtime

According to the maker, the feeder combines powdered freeze-dried food with an appropriate amount of water immediately before each feeding. Because the prepared meal does not sit inside the unit for long periods, the company presents this as a way to avoid the spoilage risk that comes with leaving wet food out. Freeze-dried ingredients keep at room temperature, which the maker positions as freeing up fridge and freezer space. The campaign also frames the design around hydration: cats tend not to drink much on their own, and the maker says the resulting meals contain a moderate amount of moisture the cat takes in while eating.

Power, plans and accessories

The maker lists universal 100V to 240V input, with plug options for the US, EU, UK, Australia and China. Some plans include a battery pack, which the company says keeps scheduled feedings going during a power outage.
