Segai SyncOne

Most devices in this category repeat preset patterns. The SyncOne, presented as a Kickstarter project, takes a different approach: Segai says its Vision AI reads a video's rhythm, pace and emotional tone in real time and mirrors that movement physically. Setup, per the maker, amounts to connecting the device and loading a video.

The project began with four friends from around the world who felt that intimate products remained crude and awkward to use. In 2023 the idea moved from sketches to prototypes, with the stated goals of a desexualized, design-led, human-centered product. Segai says the AI engine was trained on a large dataset and will receive monthly upgrades to handle more scenarios.

Smart Sync

Segai describes its Smart Sync technology in three parts. Instantaneous Response detects key moments in a video with millisecond-level precision, so the device follows when the pace picks up. Emotional Resonance combines speed, motion and vibration to track shifts in mood, slower for subdued scenes and livelier for energetic ones. Climax Alignment is intended to time the user's peak to the video's.

On accuracy, the maker reports that its in-house visual recognition system reached roughly 85% overall accuracy in internal testing, with an action recognition score of up to 0.87 and precision of about 0.93 on 720P video. Segai notes that real-world results depend on hardware and video quality, and that support for mosaic-blurred video and LGBT content is currently limited.

According to Segai, the fit was refined over eight design iterations based on feedback from more than 50 testers worldwide. The company positions the SyncOne as a design object rather than a novelty, with clean curves and a natural grip meant to sit comfortably in a living space.
