Why it matters

Shargeek pitches the Shargeek 300 as an answer to familiar power-bank complaints: limited output, slow recharging, plain design and poor handling of small devices. The result, as the maker describes it, is a 24000mAh/86.4Wh battery roughly the size of a 330ml cola can, with a see-through case that has become something of a brand signature.

Output and ports

The maker says the Shargeek 300 delivers up to 300W in total across two USB-C ports, one USB-A port and an adjustable DC port. Its example scenario: two 16-inch-class laptops charging simultaneously at 140W each while a smartphone charges at up to 20W. The DC port is rated up to 140W, which Shargeek positions for devices such as drones and projectors.

Recharging the bank itself is rated at up to 140W input; with a compatible charger, the maker claims a full 0 to 100% charge in 75 minutes. A low-current mode is intended for earbuds, smartwatches and fitness bands, supplying power suited to low-draw wearables.

Display, lights and build

  • 1.9-inch IPS colour display, said to be 60% larger than the previous model's, showing charging speed, charge cycles and battery temperature
  • On-screen settings for charge-start level, DC output voltage, a custom power-on welcome message and lighting
  • Dual RGB light bars with adjustable brightness, colours and effects
  • Matte silver CNC aluminium alloy body with 180-grit sandblasting and anodising
  • Transparent sections made from UL94 V0 flame-retardant PC

Inside the battery

According to Shargeek, the 300 uses what it calls the world's first full-tab battery cells, designed to cut internal resistance for faster charging, steadier high output and better heat dissipation. Standby draw is quoted at 500μA or less, with more than 90% of charge said to remain after 15 days idle. Cooling combines an aluminium alloy frame, outer aluminium shell and thermal silicone pads.

The maker lists protection against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent and short circuits, states that the unit meets airline carry-on standards, and says the display's readings closely match third-party measuring equipment.
