Why it matters

The SINEX Z3 follows the SINEX Z2, and according to the maker it keeps that model's emphasis on structural design, stability and portability while adding new functions. The result is pitched as a single tool that works as a selfie stick, a handheld grip and a tripod.

Two magnetic faces, two jobs

The central idea is a double-sided magnetic structure. The front carries a magnet for holding the phone, with one-touch attach and release. The rear uses a magnet-compatible material, so accessories with built-in magnets can be mounted without cables. The maker says the design supports MagSafe on iPhone 12 and later, even with a case fitted, and that phones without MagSafe can use the included magnetic ring accessory.

A remote that handles more than the shutter

The included wireless remote can, according to the maker, take photos, launch the camera, adjust focus, switch shooting modes and swap between front and rear cameras. Bluetooth range is quoted at up to approximately 10m, aimed at group shots, self-portraits, tripod work and controlling a live stream without touching the phone.

  • Three modes: extendable selfie stick, handheld grip, and tripod with 5-level height adjustment
  • Rotation design the maker says reduces handheld shake for video and vlogging
  • Magnetically attached LED fill light included for low-light shooting
  • Ergonomic center-of-gravity balance intended to ease wrist and arm strain
  • Zinc alloy used in key parts of the rotation mechanism
  • 5-stage telescoping structure designed for rigidity while staying light
  • Approximately 175g; approximately 11.5cm folded; approximately 26.5cm to 49.6cm extended

Built to travel

The maker describes the folded size as roughly that of a smartphone, and says the extension range covers both seated and standing shots. Durability claims center on the zinc alloy rotation parts and the telescoping structure, which the campaign says is designed to resist wobble and tipping outdoors in wind and during long indoor live streams.
