ThermoPawX™

Most pet vests are passive: fabric, maybe an insulating layer, and little else. The Dual-Mode Semiconductor Pet Vest from ThermoPawX™ takes a different route, building in a Peltier element, the semiconductor chip that moves heat when current passes through it. According to the maker, that lets a single vest act as both a wearable cooler and a wearable heater, adjusting quickly to help keep a pet comfortable regardless of season.

How it works

In cooling mode, the maker says the chip draws heat away rapidly; in heating mode, it provides gentle warmth. A control panel on the vest handles switching between modes and adjusting temperature across three levels, and the company says the controls are designed to be straightforward for owners who are not especially comfortable with technology.

• Peltier (semiconductor) element for cooling and heating
• Control panel with three temperature settings
• Rechargeable battery rated for up to 8 hours, per the maker
• USB charging, including from a power bank
• Sizes S to XL for dogs of different builds
• Adjustment mechanism the maker says takes "3 seconds flat"

Fit and build

The campaign describes the vest as ultra-lightweight despite the built-in electronics, with durable fabric meant to hold up to active pets. The quick-adjust fit is pitched not only as a convenience before walks but as a way to accommodate growing puppies and older dogs whose body shape changes over time. The maker also highlights a futuristic silhouette and a range of colour options.

Looking ahead, the project materials mention possible future directions such as models for large dogs or cats and app-linked temperature monitoring. These are described as potential developments rather than confirmed products.
