Venowa

Damp rooms bring familiar problems: mould creeping across walls, bedding and clothes that never quite feel dry. Venowa is a compact dehumidifier aimed at those issues, and its maker frames it as something that belongs in a living space rather than tucked out of sight.

Two modules instead of one

The core of the design is what the campaign calls dual-semiconductor technology: two semiconductor modules working together. The maker says this removes moisture faster and in greater volume than single-module semiconductor dehumidifiers, with the advantage most noticeable in humid regions and larger rooms. The stated capacity is up to 800ml of water per day.

That water collects in a 2.4L tank, which the maker says allows up to 3 days of operation between emptyings. A transparent window on the front shows the water level, and when the tank fills the unit switches itself off and signals with a sound and a red indicator light.
