Wolf Fang 2.0

Pens, small lights and screwdrivers are the kind of things that are handy to have but awkward to carry separately. Wolf Fang 2.0 attempts to fold all three into one keychain-sized piece. According to the maker, the body measures under 11cm and is CNC-machined from Grade 5 titanium, an alloy chosen for its light weight, strength and corrosion resistance.

A pen without ink

The writing element is what the campaign calls an "eternal pen": a tip made of a special alloy that marks paper through friction rather than ink, so there is no refill to run dry. The maker says it can be used underwater and in extreme heat or cold, pitching it at outdoor use and emergency kits.

A glow that needs no battery

The head holds a tritium vial, a self-luminous light source that requires no power or charging and emits a faint, constant glow day and night. The maker states it can keep glowing for up to 10 to 20 years. It is far dimmer than a USB-rechargeable LED, so it functions as a locator or visibility marker in the dark rather than a flashlight, but as a fully passive component it is effectively maintenance-free.

Driver and storage

Removing the rear end exposes a magnetic bit holder that accepts precision bits; the campaign describes the magnet as strong enough to hold bits securely while still allowing easy swaps. The body also stores two driver bits, with types described as including precision star, Phillips and flathead.
