Why it matters

Wearing sunglasses and earbuds together isn't always comfortable. Frames can press against earphones, earbuds may shift with sweat and movement, and adjusting multiple pieces of equipment can become a distraction during exercise.

CYBERSIGHT Z1 offers a different approach. By integrating speakers, batteries, and audio components directly into a pair of sports sunglasses, it combines two essential functions in one streamlined design.

Its open-ear audio system keeps the ear canals unobstructed, while a distinctive Z-shaped frame helps manage wind interference and distribute pressure more comfortably. With sound that adjusts to your speed, Z1 is designed to make music, communication, and outdoor activity work naturally together.

Key Features of CYBERSIGHT Z1

Open-Ear Audio That Keeps You Connected to Your Surroundings

The defining feature of CYBERSIGHT Z1 is its open-ear audio system, which delivers music without requiring earbuds or covering the ear canals.

Integrated speakers and specially designed acoustic chambers use directional audio technology to guide sound toward your ears while allowing surrounding sounds to remain audible.

Whether you're cycling on an open road or running outdoors, this design allows you to enjoy your playlist without completely isolating yourself from what's happening nearby.

Z1 also incorporates dual-magnetic audio drivers, designed to produce rich, layered bass. Directional sound and adaptive audio processing work together to support a more engaging listening experience during movement.

The speakers, batteries, mainboard, and acoustic chambers are built directly into the temples, eliminating the need for external audio modules or exposed wiring.

Aerodynamic Z-Shaped Temples Designed for Comfort

Z1's distinctive Z-shaped temples are more than a visual signature. Their geometry has been developed to address two common challenges in sports eyewear: wearing pressure and wind interference.

Constructed with a magnesium-lithium alloy frame, Z1 uses a weight-distribution design intended to reduce pressure around the nose and ears during extended wear.

Adjustable, skin-friendly, non-slip nose pads work alongside close-fitting temples to help keep the sunglasses securely positioned during movement, including demanding rides and sweaty training sessions.

The sculpted temple shape also guides airflow rearward. Combined with acoustic channel isolation, this dual-layer wind management design helps reduce interference from moving air, making music and spoken audio easier to hear while riding.

Z1 is also designed to fit with most cycling helmets, allowing cyclists to incorporate audio eyewear into their existing equipment setup.

SpeedSync Audio Automatically Adapts to Your Pace

Wind conditions can change considerably as your speed increases or decreases. Constantly adjusting your volume isn't always convenient when you're focused on the ride.

Z1 addresses this with SpeedSync Audio, a system that automatically adjusts volume and sound balance according to your movement speed.

As you accelerate, the system increases volume and bass while reducing treble. When you slow down, the sound adjusts accordingly.

Combined with real-time adaptive equalization, this technology helps maintain a suitable listening balance without requiring repeated manual adjustments.

For phone calls, Z1 features a hybrid four-microphone array with AI noise cancellation. Air microphones capture environmental sound, while bone-vibration sensors detect the wearer's voice through vibrations.

Together, these components help distinguish speech from wind and background noise, improving voice clarity for the person on the other end of a call.

Sports Lenses for Changing Light and Prescription Needs

CYBERSIGHT Z1 offers more than integrated audio. Its lens system is designed to accommodate different outdoor lighting conditions and individual vision requirements.

The standard sports lenses are made from Covestro Makrolon LQ optical polycarbonate, a lightweight, impact-resistant material with UV protection.

Two main lens options are available.

High-contrast lenses help make visual details easier to distinguish, while photochromic lenses change their tint in response to varying light conditions.

This allows users to select lenses suited to their outdoor activities and lighting preferences.

For athletes who require vision correction, Z1 offers two prescription solutions: Direct Rx Sport Lenses, which integrate the prescription into the main sports lenses, and a removable prescription insert positioned behind the outer lens.

Custom prescription lenses use Mitsui Chemicals' MR-7 optical material, featuring a refractive index of 1.67. The supported prescription range accommodates combined myopia and astigmatism correction within ±6.00D.

Custom prescription lenses are available at an additional cost.

Bluetooth 6.1 Keeps Your Phone and Watch Connected

Managing music, calls, and workout guidance becomes more convenient when devices can work together.

With Bluetooth 6.1 and Multipoint connectivity, CYBERSIGHT Z1 can remain connected to two compatible devices simultaneously, such as a smartphone and a sports smartwatch.

If you're listening to music from your watch when a phone call arrives, you can switch to the call without disconnecting and pairing your devices again.

Compatible devices include iOS and Android smartphones, along with supported sports watches from Apple Watch, Garmin, COROS, and Suunto.

Z1 can also play spoken coaching, pace updates, interval notifications, and other prompts delivered by compatible workout applications on a connected smartphone.

For additional convenience, the sunglasses support voice assistants such as Siri on compatible devices.

Physical buttons and touch controls allow users to manage playback and calls, while the CYBERSIGHT app provides options for customizing button functions and touch gestures.

Up to Six Hours of Playback with Practical Outdoor Protection

A sports audio device needs to keep pace with your activities, and Z1 offers a range of practical features designed for regular outdoor use.

At 70% volume, the built-in battery delivers up to six hours of continuous music playback. Actual battery life varies depending on volume, call frequency, and operating conditions.

A magnetic charging system also supports fast charging, providing up to three hours of playback from a 20-minute charge.

Battery status can be checked through the CYBERSIGHT app.

For protection during exercise, Z1 carries an IP54 dust- and splash-resistance rating, helping it withstand sweat and incidental water splashes. It is not designed for swimming or immersion in water.

The sunglasses are available with black or white frames, complemented by wraparound sports lenses and the distinctive Z-shaped temple design.

The result is a unified appearance that reflects the product's focus on sports performance, integrated audio, and practical functionality.

Conclusion

CYBERSIGHT Z1 brings together the convenience of open-ear audio and the functionality of performance sunglasses in a single wearable device.

Its aerodynamic frame, adaptive sound system, versatile lens options, and simultaneous device connectivity make it an appealing option for cyclists, runners, and outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy audio while remaining aware of their surroundings.

Rather than adding another piece of equipment to your routine, Z1 integrates sound into something you're already wearing.

A simpler way to move, listen, and stay connected to the world around you.
