Domosoon

Fan-equipped workwear has an obvious limit: on a hot day, it mostly moves hot air. Domosoon takes a different approach. According to the maker, the vest uses a semiconductor cooling element, a Peltier device, which uses electricity to chill one face while shedding heat from the other. The result is meant to be actual cold against the back rather than just airflow.

Cooling and airflow

The maker says that when connected to a USB Type-C 9V/2A source, the cooling module drops from 31℃ to about 14℃ in roughly 30 seconds, reaching about 9℃ after around 2 minutes. The module sits at the center of the back, with no extra insulating layer between the cooling surface and the body. The vest is designed to be worn over clothing such as a T-shirt rather than directly against the skin.

At the waist, a 9V high-output dual fan setup delivers up to 45CFM, which the maker describes as stronger than typical 5V models. Air is distributed across the back, sides, chest and abdomen, and a dedicated opening at the neck lets circulated air rise toward the face. A direct-connected remote adjusts fan speed and cooling level independently, each across three steps: low, medium and high.

Power and hybrid cooling

Domosoon runs from a power bank supporting USB Type-C, 9V/2A, up to 18W output; no battery is included. With a 20,000mAh power bank, the maker estimates about 3–4 hours on high, 5–6 hours on medium and 8–12 hours on low. The cooling module detaches with one touch, and an internal pocket holds off-the-shelf ice packs or ice bags, so the vest can keep cooling when battery is low or to save power.
