DualView2

DualView2 is built around a simple premise: put 8K video capture into a body small enough to carry everywhere. The maker positions it as an evolution of a previous model, aimed at travelers, vloggers and anyone who records everyday life, with an emphasis on keeping operation simple despite the feature list.

Two screens, one framing problem solved

The defining hardware choice is a pair of touchscreens, one on the front and one on the back. The idea is that you can check framing whether the lens is pointed at a scene or at yourself, which suits selfies, vlogs and interview-style shots. The maker presents this as a way to control compositions that include the person filming, something it says is harder with conventional action cams and smartphones.

Stabilization and horizon lock

According to the maker, six-axis horizontal stabilization keeps footage smooth while walking, running or riding a bike. A horizon lock feature is said to keep the image level regardless of the angle at which the camera is held, which the maker says reduces tilted shots and the editing needed to correct them.

Key specifications, as stated by the maker

• 8K video recording
• Weight of 90g, in a palm-size, pocketable body
• Front and rear dual touchscreens
• Six-axis horizontal stabilization with horizon lock
• Storage support up to 512GB
• IPX8 waterproofing, rated for shooting down to 30 meters
• Remote control via a smartphone app, with in-app review, editing and sharing

The campaign frames DualView2 as more than a single-purpose gadget, pointing to possible future accessories and firmware updates, and to development shaped by backer feedback. Those plans are described as expectations rather than confirmed features.
