Foldryn

Damp laundry in a hotel room or a tent is a familiar travel problem, and Foldryn is the maker's answer to it. Rather than a compact tumble dryer or a handheld steamer, the device works with a dedicated drying bag: clothes are hung inside, the unit is switched on, and warm circulating air evaporates moisture while a high-speed airflow smooths out wrinkles at the same time.

How it works

The maker describes a dual high-speed motor system paired with what it calls AI-controlled graphene heating. According to the maker, the heater has a 0.5-second thermal response, reaches a stable 80℃ airflow one second after power-on, and holds temperature to within ±1℃, with the AI adjusting airflow temperature and volume in real time. The bag itself is said to release excess heat so warmth passes through the fabric rather than building up in it.

Using the included large air bag, the maker says five to six garments such as shirts, trousers and tops can be processed at once, and that thin items like T-shirts are dried and de-wrinkled in about 25 minutes. Separate torso and pants air bags are offered for single garments: the torso bag targets hoodies, jackets and sweaters, while the pants bag is meant for trousers, jeans and shorts.
