ISOLA26

Outerwear usually forces a trade-off: strong weather protection with little storage, or plenty of pockets with weak protection. ISOLA26 is designed to avoid that compromise. The maker describes it as a waterproof system for use 365 days a year, built around the idea of carrying belongings neatly and travelling further, from city commutes to outdoor trips. According to the campaign, it combines 26 smart pockets and 58 practical functions.

Protect and organise

The headline feature is 3D Touch-View, a transparent panel built into the jacket that the maker says lets you operate a phone without taking it out, such as checking navigation or answering a call in the rain. A Smart Sleeve GPS pocket is described as waterproof and shock-absorbing, intended to hold a GPS device steady outdoors.

Storage follows what the maker calls Pocket Mapping, with pockets dedicated to specific items such as a phone, keys, wallet, pen, passport and sunglasses, plus travel accessories and outdoor gear. A Dual Access System gives pockets two or more entry points so they can be reached in jacket, sling or backpack mode. The chest pocket, for example, opens from both the front and the inside of the jacket.

One system, three modes

• Jacket Mode: the standard waterproof, insulated outer layer
• Sling Mode: open the rear zip, invert and fold the lining to make a crossbody bag
• Backpack Mode: attach the dedicated shoulder straps to convert it into a backpack

An Adaptive Hem switches between short and full length, and ThermoCloud is a removable insulating inner layer whose hollow-structure material the maker says offers warmth at low weight. The Silent Pocket is made from a shielding material that, according to the campaign, isolates a stored phone from signals, tracking, contactless scanning and external interference.

Materials and details

The shell uses 100% regenerated nylon 66 with 4-way stretch, which the maker describes as highly durable, waterproof and tear-resistant while staying soft and light. Other details include waterproof zips and a weather-shielding hood. ISOLA26 comes in two colours, Urban Black and Forest Green.
