Why it matters

For many drivers, the hardest part of washing a car is finding somewhere to do it. Apartment parking lots rarely allow running water, and a trip to a car wash can eat half a day. LINYO H1 is pitched as a way around that: a portable, cordless-capable machine that brings the wash to the car rather than the other way round.

Lift first, then scrub

The maker describes a Lift & Extract technology designed to loosen grime and draw abrasive particles and dirty water back into the unit before the rollers make full contact, with the goal of avoiding dragging grit across the paint. According to the maker, it targets everyday urban dirt such as road grime, bird droppings and tree sap; it is not intended for heavy, thick mud from off-road driving.

One workflow instead of a bucket of tools

The sequence the maker outlines starts with one-press dense foam, followed by motor-driven rollers that wash while carrying wax onto the surface, and a smart mist rinse. Dirty water is collected in a sealed tank before a light second spray pass. The campaign says the aim is to get close to a washed, waxed and dry finish in about 20 minutes.

  • Power: 5000mAh battery for cordless use, with a plug-in option for continuous work
  • Water use: 0.5 gallons per wash, according to the maker
  • Runtime: roughly two exterior washes per charge; full charge in about 2.5 hours
  • Smart detergent system that auto-dilutes compatible detergent at a 1:50 ratio, with support for pH-neutral formulas
  • Nano-ceramic wax finish described as suitable for many automotive finishes, including matte paint
  • Vacuum mode with 16,000Pa suction for seats, mats and tight gaps

Clear limits

The maker states that LINYO H1 is designed for body panels and wheel hubs only. It does not clean the underbody or the tires themselves. Within that scope, the project positions it as a tool for frequent, low-effort upkeep in places where hoses and drains are off the table, from garages to apartment parking spaces.
