Why it matters
The idea behind MusicCam is simple: record what you see and hear without stopping to hold a phone or rig a mount. The maker describes it as the world's first camera headset, combining a 2K lens with 6-axis stabilization, 20-metre waterproofing and bone-conduction open-ear audio in a body weighing 50g. According to the campaign, you slide to start recording and tap to share, with no gimbal or extra mounting hardware required.
Camera and stabilization
The maker says the 6-axis stabilization detects and corrects not just vertical and horizontal movement but rotational shake, aimed at hiking trails, boats and rough cycling surfaces. Video is captured at 2K HD resolution, and the lens can be tilted by hand within a ±30° range to frame upward, forward or downward views. A slide control switches between vertical 9:16 footage for TikTok, Reels and Shorts and horizontal 16:9 footage for YouTube, so the maker says there is no need to crop afterward.

Sharing, sound and power
MusicCam pairs with a dedicated app for real-time preview, file organization, trimming and editing, and direct sharing to social platforms. The campaign says the 32GB buffer works alongside Wi-Fi transfer during recording to avoid running out of space. The ENC dual microphones are designed to isolate the wearer's voice from wind, traffic and crowd noise, while the open-ear design keeps ambient sound audible.
On power, the maker claims a 15-minute charge restores the battery to 80%, which it says is enough for a day of cycling, an afternoon hike or an evening of vlogging. Full battery life figures are not given.
