Sheggell

Bird feeders have mostly stayed analog, but Sheggell treats feeding and watching as a single connected system. According to the maker, an onboard 4K HD camera streams live video while AI identifies which species have stopped by, turning a backyard fixture into something closer to a field-observation tool.

Recognition and recording

The camera links to a smartphone or tablet, and the maker says users can see bird movements and species in real time. Sightings are logged, so the feeder can build up an observation history over time rather than offering only a live view.

Keeping out the uninvited

Squirrels, ants and bees are perennial problems for feeder owners. Sheggell addresses them with what the maker describes as a special protective structure and a leak-proof interior, designed to make it harder for anything other than birds to get at the food.

• AI species identification with a 4K HD camera and real-time viewing on phone or tablet
• Recorded bird data saved as an observation history
• Protective, leak-proof design intended to deter squirrels, ants and bees
• Bird bath with filtration and a water-recycling system, per the maker
• Stand that rotates 360° for positioning in gardens or on balconies

Bath and stand

The integrated bird bath filters and reuses its water, which the maker says keeps it clean while reducing daily upkeep. A 360-degree adjustable stand lets the feeder be turned to suit how birds approach and to frame the best viewing angle, whether it sits in a garden or on a balcony. The maker positions the overall design as environmentally conscious.
