ZERA MAX 2

Described by its maker as a wearable air conditioner, ZERA MAX 2 is built around what the company calls thermotech technology. The idea is a single device that delivers cooling in summer and warmth in winter, plus a thermotherapy function intended to relieve body pain and help tired muscles relax.

Cooling, heating and AI control

According to the maker, an AI moderate chipset adjusts the output automatically to keep temperatures in a comfortable range, avoiding the scorching or freezing sensations that earlier wearable coolers could produce. For cooling, a nanotechnology-based thermal generator is paired with a large-diameter turbo fan, which the maker says can bring body temperature down within seconds.

Wear it where it's needed

The elastic strap system lets the unit sit on the waist, shoulder or thigh, and the maker describes the body as light and compact enough to slip into a pocket or bag. Suggested uses include commuting, outdoor activities and long days at the beach.

A companion app handles fine power adjustment, timers and activation of the AI temperature function. Its AI thermotherapy mode lets users set individual cooling and heating ranges to suit their needs.

ZERA MAX 2 is a Kickstarter project. The maker also positions its portable design as more energy-efficient than conventional air conditioning, and potential applications such as factory and construction-site work environments have been floated for the concept.
